Hi guys,
I'm often assigning labels to files, i.e. to mark them as important or as "to do". I adjusted the Tiles Mode display definition, so this can be seen directly on the file icon by a flag like this:
This was working fine in Dopus 12, but in Dopus 13 this is only working for certain file types, like .pdf or .txt. It is no longer working for image files, audio files or other file types.
In that case, nothing happens, the files can neither be flagged nor unflagged.
Does it really depend on file type, or is it the file location? E.g. Local vs network drive.
Have you checked the Label column? It’s possible you’ve configured the Tiles for some types to show labels and not others, in which case the label is there, just not included in the Tile information for that type.
Haven't tested with network drives, but in the Desktop lister, only certain file types are working while others are ignored although they are in the same directory.
Good point. If I enable the label column, I can see that the labels are added/toggled. So it indeed seems to be related to the display definitions. I'll check that later thoroughly. Thanks!
BTW: Is there any other way to display assigned labels? I was checking the propertys but couldn't find any info here.
Adjusting the file definitions fixed this, many thanks! Although I haven't adjusted anything here for years, so this must have happened while importing the settings from DO12.
