Issue with Video Thumbnails Not Appearing in a Specific Folder (Proton Drive Sync Folder)

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with video thumbnails not appearing in Directory Opus in a specific folder on my system.

Here's the situation:

  • I'm using Directory Opus as my file manager on Windows.
  • Thumbnails for both image and video files display correctly in most folders on my system, including on both the C: and D: drives.
  • However, there's one specific folder where video thumbnails are not showing in Directory Opus. This folder is located on my D: drive and is the local sync folder for Proton Drive.
  • In this Proton Drive folder, image thumbnails appear normally, but video thumbnails do not.
  • When I open the same folder using Windows File Explorer, video thumbnails appear correctly, so the issue seems specific to Directory Opus.

I've checked various settings and tried refreshing the folder, but the problem persists. Any ideas on what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Do the videos exist locally or are they offline files in cloud storage?

Is the folder recognised as being cloud storage? It should be under the Cloud Storage branch of the folder tree if it is.
