Jobs Bar not showing in all Listers

Even with this Preference set, the job bar is not displayed if I open a new lister.

Turn on the top option if you want that. Otherwise it'll only appear when new operations begin (even if it has already appeared in another window).

Thank you.

I assumed “Show in all Listers” meant that it would show in all Listers.

I don’t want to always display the jobs bar, but it seems like the only way the progress indicator will be visible in all Listers is to turn on the top option.

Please consider adding that information in Preferences and the online Manual:

One reason I want to see the Jobs Bar / Progress indicator is that when I am doing a big important backup and copying hundreds of thousands of files to another drive, I often open a separate Lister so I don’t accidentally interfere with the folders involved in copying.

So I work in the Lister that does not show the Jobs Bar / Progress indicator. Since making backup copies can take hours, I sometimes forget and shut down DOpus! when I do, that stops the copying, but there’s no warning! Please consider having a shutdown warning if a Job is in progress Like,

“Exiting Directory Opus will stop the job you have in progress. Do you really want to Exit?”

Since the information in Preferences is misleading/incomplete, PLEASE revise it so it’s clear.

We've made some changes for the next beta (13.18.1, not 13.18) which improve how those options work w.r.t. both new and existing windows when jobs are already running.

(After looking in detail, there was some interplay with the Progress Indicators / Hide from taskbar when jobs bar is visible option and whether or not new windows shows the jobs bar for existing jobs. If you toggle that now, it'll probably work how you want. Once the new beta is out, it should work how you want with the option in both modes.)
