Join (still?) running very slow

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else experiences very slow performance from the JOIN function?

The SPLIT part seems to be quite quick, but the JOIN is taking forever on a reasonably high spec machine.

I noticed this thread - resource.dopus.com/viewtopic.php ... =join+slow - and wondered if anything concrete was ever done?

This is using DOpus 9.1.1.3.

Out of curiousity, can I hust issue a "DOS->COPY filea + fileb + filec filed" to join these files together?

The Join command now pre-sizes the destination file but I just tried it quickly and looked with Process Monitor and it's (still?) using a rather small buffer size which may be the reason it's quite slow.

I've reported it to GPSoftware.
