JPG as drop target?

Hi all,

is there any way at all to detect (and react to) one file being dropped onto another in the same lister? For example one JPG onto another? Is it even possible to have a non-executable file as a drop target?

(I'm trying to come up with a way to graphically re-order files by dragging-and-dropping them and then updating their names...)

Don't think so, but something else that may help is being considered at the moment. Can't say more at this stage. :slight_smile:

I know better than to ask what it is, but can you tell me if I should postpone my investigations because whatever-it-is might appear in one of the next betas or if it's more of a maybe-in-DOpus 12 possibility?

It won't be in the next beta (we're about to put out 11.18, so no more changes unless it's an emergency). Maybe in a few weeks though. Or not, depending on what happens. :slight_smile:
