In Windows Explorer I often typed a share name (i.e. \server\myshare) directly into the address bar. If I had enough rights the content of the share was displayed, if not, I was prompted to give valid credentials.
If I do the same in DOpus I always get a message that the share could not be accessed because of security reasons.
Often I just need to copy a file and don't want to map a drive just to do that.
Is there a way to get the same behaviour as in Windows Explorer?
Opus does the same as Explorer for me. If I've never accessed the share before and don't get permission automatically then I get prompted for credentials. This happens with both XP and Vista.
I mostly use this action with my laptop as this is my daily working tool.
I now just tried it with my other installation at home and there it works as it should - so it seems to be a problem just on my laptop. Time to reinstall Windows I would say...
Both installations are Windows XP Professional so there shouldn't be a difference.
I've attached the error message I get. (German Text translated: There was an error when reading the folder.)
