Just received dopus 13, but documents now points to onedrive not my documents

How to fix?
Awful job finding this for this post keeps looking at onedrive

That's unrelated to Opus or Opus 13. It's something Microsoft and Windows 11 have done to your system. You'll see the same in File Explorer and everything else as well.

There are lots of pages and threads around the web about it and ways to undo it.

I reverted to Window 10. Windows 11 was too much worse. Should I go back to Opus 12?

I am reverting to Opus 12,.

Are you synchonized to Windows 11?

There’s no reason to revert to Opus 12. The documents folder / OneDrive changes have nothing to do with Opus, and Opus 13 works on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Already went back, but it is foulded by Onedrive.
I do not want OneDrive in my system,
Today I subscribeed, becase it kept telling me that i had run out of space.
I do my own backups.
I do not need Onedrive, and it does not keep track of what I have just done.
Somehow I have to te llit to backup what I just did.
It has no app, that I can tell. It is terrible. It is like W11.

On the old PC, Onedrive is not fouling it up, WHY??

I want D-opus without OneDrive, is that possible

OneDrive is nothing to do with Opus. Please read what we are saying.

I read what you are saying.

But I removed OneDrive from my PC.

I reinstalled Dopus 13.

I made many favorites.

Because when I click on Documents, it shows what Onedrive had saved,
not what is stored in \johna\Documents.

I took Documents from my File tabs, because it is on OneDrive, not from \johna\Documents.

Is there a registery fix to eliminate OneDrive from showing in Directory Opus?

I will go to Microsoft and try to delete all files from OneDrive, after I send this post

Would you look at my photo?
on the right it shows johna's Documents, but it is OneDrive/john'a/documents
OneDrive has files up to 9/4, not 9/6

Went t o Microsoft.
Deleted all in Onedrive
Canceled Onedrive.

restartedf my PC

john'a Documents has what I put in Onedrive yesterday, STILL

Jon, what do you mean when you say that "OneDrive is nothing to do with Opus",
it does not look that way to me.
I have been with D_opus for over 20 years and the past week has been a problem for me. D-Opus is up on my PC for a majority of the time.. D-opus worked fine on my older PC. Tried W11, but it is similar to OneDrive. Returned to W10 on the new PC.
Now trying to get W10 on the new PC to act like W10 on the old PC -- just many times faster.

OneDrive is part of Windows, not Opus.

Opus just shows the files and folders as they exist on your PC.

Opus will show the same thing as File Explorer and everything else that displays the contents of your computer.

Opus doesn’t determine if OneDrive is being used or where your Documents folder is. Windows does.

The issues you are seeing with OneDrive and your Documents folder are down to Windows. They have absolutely nothing to do with Directory Opus.
