Key Held Down Tooltip

The new tooltip on key held down is frikkin epic. :fire: Thanks for that.
When using the "generic files and folders" (sample) tooltip type, it's even filetype context aware.
Album art and everything! :grinning:

Tooltip

Although when hovering the mouse in the name box, but not over the text (whitespace) the tooltip won't trigger. Could you add a "full row tooltip trigger" please. So you could even be down to the right with your mouse, looking at the other columns and still use this, without having to have your mouse over the name text. pls pls :hugs:

And it still has like a 500ms delay, even when 0 delay is set in the settings.
Is that just the wait time for it to read the info?

...

If you gonna play the game right boy
You got to learn to play it right

You got to know when to hold em
Know when to fold em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run

The no-delay modifier tooltip on files is definitely not initializing properly.
If I hover my mouse over something and hold my modifier key sometimes the tooltip won't display at all until I first move my mouse to another object. Then the tooltips start to appear.

Could you add this tooltip to the Status column please.
So when the key is held down it will display the name of the status icon your mouse is hovering over.

Please don't bump recent requests unless you have new information to add.

It's already been seen and added to the ideas list.

"It's not working on the Status Column" *is new information.
Where is this ideas list you're talking about?
If you want us to not bump things you will have to provide a "don't bump" button where things can be added to a thread without it moving its place.

If the addition wasn’t even about the subject of this thread, then it should have been in its own thread.

See the “ask one question per thread” FAQ for detailed guidance.

Oh I see my mistake. The status column is part of the entire row and none of the rows are
working, which falls under my original post.
I didn't think of that. My thoughts at the time were about having context aware tooltips when hovering over different columns, sorry.
