Keyboard shortcuts hints

One of the things that makes easy to learn keyboard shortcuts in apps, is when these are displayed as a tooltip in all menu entries.

For some reason, in Directory Opus only a minority of menu entries have the keyboard shortcuts displayed. Is there a reason for that?

Tools > Command Prompt Here doesn't have a hotkey assigned to it at all.

You could add one by editing it, and add it to the tooltip at the same time. The Hotkey and Tip fields are what you want in the icon editor:

(Edited the above post to removed the last paragraph, which wasn't quite correct. Correct info:)

You can also use accelerator keys. These depend on language and may also depend on when your config was made, but if you push Alt and T to open the Tools menu, a key will be underlined which you can push to access that menu item.

For me, it was D which conflicted with another item in the menu, but that was because my toolbars are old/edited. On a new English config, it will be M, but the keys are assigned when the menu is generated to avoid them clashing with each other, so they may vary from config to config.

You can edit those by moving/placing an & before a character in the menu item's label. Accelerator keys are in addition to hotkeys. You can have both, neither, or either.
