as long these are 32-bit cmyk images.

Could be, clearing the cache fixes it temporarily but it soon comes back with a vengeance.
Same issue with the latest beta. Most of my thumbnails have wrong (mainly blueish) colours. Many file formats are impacted -- not just JPG, but also PNG, GIF, PCX, TGA, TIF.
It only affects the thumbnails. The built-in Opus viewer displays those pictures correctly.
