Launching tab groups

Apologies if this has been covered, but I am unable to find it.

I have a few different tab groups, and I'd like to be able to launch them via a hot key, depending on what I want to work on. Is this possible? For instance:

I want to work on photos. I have a tab group related to that sort of project work and want to open numerous tabs in split listers to start sorting, etc. How can I do that without starting dopus, then right-clicking on a tab>group>mytabgroup?

Thanks!

A system-wide hotkey with Go TABGROUPLOAD=mytabgroup should do what you want.

Floating toolbars are great for this as well (my preference).

Wow. I just learned about floating toolbars. While I can't imagine going back to just plain old explorer, I realize every time I come here that I am severely underutilizing this program.

Thanks! I'll start playing around with the floating toolbar feature.

You might also want to look at Layouts as an alternative to Folder Tab Groups if you're using them to save and load whole windows (or multiple windows), and not just the tabs themselves.

(Although you may find that tab groups are still the right tool after all, depending on what else you're doing with them.)
