Licensing Questions - 12.x and mulitple machines

I was surprised today to see that my license had expired for Opus 13.

It doesn't concern me much because i always want to support you guys -- i use the product all the time for personal use at my home.

But i am concerned because i have it installed on 2 or 3 machines in my home lab (not sure) and it's never been an issue.

My main machine is intentionally running an old version because i've setup some development around it and haven't tested a new version with it to make sure it works. Still using version 12.29.

Questions:
1 - Will i still be able to run 12.x?
2 - any changes to how the activation process works? I'm concerned that will pay for the maintenance and then run into issues with multiple versions or tighter restrictions on the number of machines it can run on.

Please let me know. thanks.

The licence doesn't expire, just the ability to install updates released after expiry (if you don't renew). You can keep using the versions you already have forever.

See the first few FAQs for more detail if needed.

No I'm very willing to buy the maintenance. My questions are targeted at what happens after i do. I want to avoid issues.

For example is 12.x all set for me to activate a license that was designed with 13.x in mind?

And any tightening of multi machine usage behavior?

Example of what i don't want to happen: I install upgrade and it says, Your installed on too many machines now sorry! When prior it's no issue.

I did not see either of those things in the faq.

Please help me decide to buy maintenance now and forever.

Opus 13 licences will work with Opus 12 as well.

How many licences do you have? How many machines is it installed on? As long as you don't go over the limit it shouldn't be a problem.

one license. 2 or 3 machines. (At least 2).

It works today. So my question is about whether it is tightened. I'm not really up to speed on how the licensing works so i just know it's working fine now.

Thanks for the info on v12.

Nothing's changed about the process.

Great! Thank you i will now grab some maintenance.
