List folder sizes

Hi everyone
A quick question, please.
Is there a function, such as the "Print Folder" one, that will print a hierarchical list of the folders in a PC (i.e. showing sub folders differently, eg by indent), and their sizes (rather than a list of all the files inside - i.e. details of their contents)?
If so, can you direct me to how to do so, please.
Kind regards
Guern

I'd say with the right parameters Print FOLDER gets the job done.

Or were you looking for something different?

Many thanks IXP, and I'm sure you're right, but could you clarify what you have done.
I am not expert at this, and I'm afraid I have no idea where you get a "Folder" filter, not what it does.
I have never created a "filter" - it seems very complicated.
However, I did try to define a folder and also searched for it, but no joy. Also my Opus 12 "Define filter" screen does not look like yours with Simple & Advanced, nor does it have the "Folder" menu button.
And my output showed lists of files (i.e. contents), not just folder and subfolder sizes
Thanks, Guern

Lxp's screenshot is from the Find > Advanced panel, which is a convenient place to go to to edit filters. The filter editor is the same wherever you go to edit them, though. It'll look like this if you click "Define" next to the filter option in the Print / Export Folder dialog:

You should create a new filter and make it look like the one in my screenshot. You can then save it and give it a name, if you want to, which makes it easier to use again in the future. (In Lxp's case, he named the filter "Folders", but you can name it anything you want.)

You'd only need to use/define that filter if you wanted your listing to only include folders and not any files.

Are you aiming to output the list into a text or CSV file, or to a printer? If so, using Print/Export Folder and a filter is the right way to go. But if you just want to see the information, not save or print it, then it's not what I would do. (Let us know if you want to know more about that. I won't complicate things more by going into something you might not need.)

Thank you very much Leo. That works perfectly. Discovered I have 3,640 folders!!
(Although I did have to hunt around to find "Find > Advanced panel" as I'd never used that before and did not even know it was there!.)
And I have now saved that Filter, and can re use it. Great.
And I have learnt that one can export to CSV (rather than TXT) which saves me a step in getting it into Excel.
I had already worked out how to see the information in the Listers, so that's covered too.

May I suggest you include these instructions as an example in the "Print Folder" section of the next manual. I'm sure many people would find it useful.
Thanks again
