No matter what I seem to change I cannot get Opus to list this style of listing.
Whenever I close and open it only defaults to a detailed view.
Please give detailed now to set this up - thanks.

Maybe you didn´t save the preferred formats under the folder options (-> tools -> folder options -> save current,
or it gets overridden by some other automatic folder view, like file type detection.
You probably want the "Simple" version of the FAQ, which is linked at the top of the one Abr links. You don't need to understand everything in the "Detailed" FAQ if you just want all folders to open in thumbnails mode by default. (Assuming that's what you want and you're not trying to do something else.)
