Can the "Please Wait Loading File Collections" process on startup of Opus be skipped? It shows a little dialog with a spinning circle. It takes several seconds on my Windows 11 PC and I don't care about file collections.
If you don't care about file collections, delete the collections and the problem will go away. There must be one/some which have a huge amount of files or point to a slow device or similar.
in other words, go to coll:// then select all the collections and click Delete.
