'Losing' tabs when switching from Commander to Single view

If I am in commander dual display mode I might have several tabs open in the right hand panel. If I switch to single display mode and then switch back to commander dual display mode, all the tabs open in the right hand panel are closed.

Is it possible to retain the tabs in the right hand panel when switch back to commander dual display mode?

AFAIK you can't when using styles.

You can with this, though:

Set DUAL=Toggle,Remember

That will toggle the second file display on and off and remember the open tabs in the closed side for when it is re-opened.
