Going by the release history:
6 - 06/2001
8 - 10/2004
9 - 04/2007
It would appear that the next major release is not due till sometime sometime in 2010. What happened to version 7 
It lacked curves.
Depends what you call soon. If it comes out December 2010 that’s nearly two years away.
I would have thought though that they will release a version not to long after Windows 7. So IF that comes out by the end of the year then they might release a version early in 2010, who knows.
Pointless thread tbh - GPSoftware never reveal release dates in advance - new versions are released "when they're ready".
