Would be cool if Dopus had a section you could visually inspect your memory use with a two dimensional graphic, instead of the one dimensional bar.
Here are two examples of the software 'TreeSize'. It shows this graphic ...but that's all it does. It's other features Dopus already does. Don't think I would want a program to do that one basic task. Would be good if Dopus did it.
I can't stand this windows 95 circular gradient on these boxes.
looks like leprosy instead of a square pie chart.
So with Dopus having a huge amount of colour customization etc. would be cool to have this same function in Dopus, with customization on how it looks.
If some program already does one thing and does it well, I tend to try and integrate it into Directory Opus than having Opus replicate what it does, unless I need a deep integration (meaning interactions between file management/Opus tools/buttons/you name it).
In that case, it seems to be the best option is to rely on this program that does one thing : try and make a button with standard opus behavior, calling /path/to/TreeSize.exe {sourcepath}
. Clicking that will open Tree Size and let you navigate within it. If at some point you want to open some folder in Opus, the option is available upon right click.
As a side note : to be correct, it would be "disk usage" tree view rather than "memory" (these tools do not inspect memory but drives).

True. You don't want one program trying to master everything.
Even though I'm with you on the principle, this particular thing I think might be an exception.
*Memory is what it's using. "Disk usage" is short form for, "Disk memory usage".
But I just couldn't think of a better term for it.
