When I right click on a file, the menu that expands requires me to scroll threw 200+ different things I can do woth that file... how do I get back to just the basic ones?!?
cut/copy/paste/move...
Turn on Preferences / Miscellaneous / Windows Integration / Hide Windows items on file context menus for a minimal context menu. You can then hold the Shift key to get the full context menu back if needed.
Although if you really have 200+ things in your context menu you might also want to think about uninstalling some unused software
