I recently discover Directory Opus and now I can't change it for no one else. But far as I read in the manual, have support for add/edit metadata info within audio files, images, etc. But in my case, this option is not available, especifically for the audio files(mp3,flac,ape). When i selected some of these files, the metadata panel doesn't show anything but basic information. With all the others files (images, documents) the metadata panel shows some specific information in order to add/edit. But not in the audio files. Hope someone can give me a hand with this problem.
PD: Sorry for my poor english
If you run regedit and go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.mp3, what value is Content Type set to?
I have the same problem - just upgraded from DO 9 to 10 and I can't seem to get the metadata panel to show up. My MP3 Content Type is blank, should it be set to something else?
Just updated the registry, rebooted, and viewing an MP3 with the viewer pane brings up the hex file view. Anything else I'm missing?
The viewer pane? This thread is about the metadata pane; they're two different things. Are you looking at the right one?
Hmm, sorry about that, I thought clicking the viewer pane on an MP3 file brought up the metadata pane? What should I be doing to get to the metadata pane, then?
F9 in the default configuration or the command is Set METAPANE=Toggle.
