Metadata Pane reverts to horizontal layout after program restart

Dear DOpus Team

I prefer to have the metadata pane set to the vertical layout . However, whenever I restart the program, the metadata pane reverts to the horizontal layout by default.

Please could you fix this behavior, so that the metadata pane stays in the layout last selected by the user even after a program restart?

It should remember the last layout it used. If that isn't happening automatically when the window closes (which is an option in Preferences), then you can save it explicitly via Settings > Set as Default Lister.
