Migrate license from PC (native Win10) to same PC (Dopus as guest in Virtualbox VM)

Hello. (Due to reasons not relevant here) I must overwrite my native Win10 PC with Linux. I have a lifetime installation of DOPUS-12 Pro. I have the "registration code."

I searched both the software itself & PDF manual but didn't find the details I need. Nor did I find this exact situation in the forum search.

I need to de-register my license in native Win10 so I can re-register as a Win10 guest (in Oracle Virtualbox). Same physical machine but I don't think the VM guest can read the hardware the way native Windows does.

P.S. I have already saved the config / .ocb file.

Thank you DOPUS team for such awesome, game-changing software---the only reason I still use Windows, actually!

You don't need to do anything special. Just install Opus inside the VM and use the certificate file that was emailed to you (or download it again from our website).

Thank you for the fast reply! I've lost many valid licenses with Microsoft ... so maybe I was overthinking it.
