When I drag a file from a pane to the folder tree, the pointer icon is pointing at one destination, whilst the popup 'Target' box refers another location about 2 inches below!
where would the file go ... to the pointer or the target? and how can I stop this from happening?
Which view mode are you using? How are your listers arranged? (Dual pane? Horiz/Vertical? Dual or shared tree?) Could you post a screenshot of it happening?
Interesting. I had to study your screenshot awhile to understand what you're seeing, and then I tried to duplicate the problem, but so far I have not been able to. Does it do it every time? Only for certain folders? I assume you're using the current version of Opus (8.2.2.0)
Sorry, I don't have any answers, just questions at this point.
I tried as well but still can't reproduce the problem. The only things I haven't tried yet are removing My Documents from the tree and enabling tabs when there's only one. Apart from that my setup looks the same (I was using the virtual Desktop folder and trying to drag to a subdirectory) but everything works correctly.
It only occurs when the source pane is the desktop (not other fiolders).
It only occurs when the source is the desktop at the top of the tree (above 'My Computer'). If I navigate to the actual desktop folder within 'Documents and Settings', and try it from there, then there is no problem.
This is the obvious solution for me, but there must be another factor somewhere that will need to be identified.
