This fix seems to be missing from all the beta releases after 13.0.46.
Was it removed deliberately because it was causing the Integrity Check Failure issue, and is there any plan to re-add it?
No it wasn't removed. What aspect isn't working?
When I pin folders open in the tree, the pins don't transfer to new listers, and they disappear entirely when I close the lister.
Make sure you have Preferences / Folder Tree / Expand/Collapse / Remember expanded root items in layouts and Remember all expanded items turned on.
I've had them turned on, and the issue still persists.
After pinning the branches, have you used Settings > Set Lister Defaults (or "Set as Default Lister" with older toolbars) to save the change?
Saving may also happen automatically when the window is closed, depending on config, but doing an explicit save will work without having to close the window and whether or not auto-saving is turned on.
(Pinned branches aren't a global thing, so that you can have layouts that have different branches pinned in them, depending on what you're working on. They can also be saved as presets that can be loaded into the tree as needed.)
