Whenever Opus is running, the Detail tab of multimedia file Properties become blank. This happens both on Window's File Explorer and Directory Opus. When I shutdown Directory Opus, 85% of the time the Details tab from the File Explorer will return. The 15% of the time when it does not recover I have to reboot.

What type of files? If MPEG/MP2, it could be because we block the MF MPEG Property Handler by default due to large numbers of crash reports.
You can unblock it if you like from Preferences / Miscellaneous / Shell Extensions.
MP4, MKV, and MOV. It's almost 100% of the time. On rare occasions I would see the detail in both Directory Opus and File Explorer. But once I exit Directory Opus and restart File Explorer, I would be able to see them in File Explorer.

I can't think of any way Opus could affect what happens in File Explorer, unless it's a bug in the metadata handler that makes it stop working system-wide.
