Hi,
In Windows 7 there is a "Open command window here" option when you're using Windows Explorer and right click on a folder with the SHIFT button pressed. I frequently have to use this but it's missing in Directory Opus (Version 10.3)
Can you help me?
Thank you very much
Michael
You should still see if in the shift + right-click menu for folders in Opus:
If not, as an alternative there is a similar command in the Tools menu. (It opens the prompt for the current folder, rather than the one which is selected below the current folder.)
Hi Leo,
Thank you very much, that helped me quite a lot. I didn't know, that there is something similar in the "Tools" menu. Besides that, now the "Open command window here" is back as it should be. I could swear, that I triple checked that before posting a question here, so I have no idea. OK, I'm in the process of setting up a new computer and am constantly installing and rebooting my PC. Anyway, thank you very much.
Best regards
Michael
Maybe you right clicked something that wasn't a real directory before, without realising. I think the Windows menu item only appears for real directories (not virtual folders), and possibly only ones below a drive letter (not UNC paths).
