Within Windows Explorer if I right click on a .lnk shortcut the context menu gives me an option 'open folder location'. This isn't possible in Dopus. Any ideas why that would be? Thanks.

You can get the same in Opus by adding Go OPENCONTAINER=target to the .LNK (Shortcut) file type's context menu.
Start from Settings -> File Types and set things up as shown in the screenshot:
