Due to problems with DOpus 13 (some from 13.0.52, before everything ok)
on my working system (Windows 10/32GB Ram)
many possible causes have been checked since then.
The recent upgrade to 64GB (with 13.3.0) strangely resulted in a different behavior during use.
The executions now take longer than usual or there are undocumented crashes.
The Ram extensions have the same characteristics (clock/Mhz) as the 32GB
and was checked for errors with several programs. (RAM = OK)
Apart from DOpus, there were no anomalies with the other programs.
On other devices with less RAM (8GB) the whole thing works better with DOpus.
The DOpus version does not matter.
Does DOpus 13 perhaps have a problem with too much RAM?
Is there a setting for this (nothing found)
That is really weird. I've used Opus with 16, 32, 64 (DDR4+5) and now 96GB (DDR5) and haven't noticed any difference in speed. Are there any executions in particular that you notice go slower, or is it everything?
Perhaps try reinstalling Opus if Windows for some reason is allocating the memory wrongly and see if that helps, but otherwise I personally wouldn't have any idea.
No, it doesn't. It sounds like something is wrong with the RAM or settings.
IME you can stress test RAM for an entire day using Prime95 or similar and think the settings are good, then run some random app (e.g. Chrome) and instantly get instability.
Try using stock RAM and CPU speeds to see if the problem is still there.
If there are crash dumps, send them to us. They may be unrelated to the RAM.
@pro
under which Windows (10/11) and version (home/pro/workstation/others)
it affects e.g. the layout (before immediately, now slow setup) and more.
DOpus 13 has already been installed several times
As new or update (with/without confi import) makes no difference.
DOpus 12 (portable) runs flawlessly.
Windows has also been tested with several versions from older backups.
Could perhaps be due to the German Windows.
Microsoft tries several times a week to change something that is undesirable here in Germany.
are secret updates in the background for various programs/apps
@leo
All tests already checked in this way.
System is not overclocked.
Dopus simply stops without dumps.
