Most context menu items for Dropbox missing

Very recently (sometime in the last month perhaps), the Dropbox-related context menu items I normally use disappeared. The only one that shows now is "Send with Dropbox Transfer", which might be new - I'm not sure. In File Explorer the items still show - in the "new" view they are on a submenu, and in the "old" view (what you get when you click "Show more options") they look like DOpus used to look until recently. I first reached out to Dropbox support, assuming that the menu was the same in File Explorer, but when I noticed that it was different, they said they don't support third-party software (which is fair) and pointed me your way.

I use Windows 11 Home. When this started happening I was on DOpus 12.30 (but not during an upgrade - I had been on that version for much longer), but upgrading to 12.31 today didn't solve it.

Here are some screenshots. First, what it looks like in DOpus:

Then what it looks like in File Explorer default view and "Show more options" view:

Dropbox is also third party software…

We don’t support third party software that doesn’t support third party software.

More seriously, we’ll take a look to see if there’s something we can do on our side. But it seems something on the Dropbox side changed here and it’s disappointing to see them use any excuse to ignore an issue without even investigating what happened.

Just to add I use Dropbox but I cannot reproduce this issue.

I've not been able to reproduce this either. Windows 11 22H2, and Dropbox 177.4.5399.

Maybe the registry entries that populate these buttons are messed up on your machine. Maybe try to reinstall the dropbox client.
