If left unattended the copy or move function appears to go to sleep and I have to click on it and it will start again, some of these file moves are huge and I can't sit in front of the computer for however long it will take,,,,

Just clicking on the progress window to activate it, without clicking any buttons or really interacting with it?
That's likely something outside of Opus, as it doesn't happen normally.
I've left copies going for longer than 24 hours here without issues.

Maybe it's your energy options? I guess, that they shouldn't kick in while having some task running, but who knows?
