Is there any plugin that will show the properties / metadata of videos and exe files in the Viewer? Like how it is with MP3s.
I love the viewer but I dont want it to play movies, so when i turn this off it just shows the code (same with exe files).
Windows Explorer does it, so surely DOpus can too, I just can't figure out how.

There isn't at the moment.
What do you see in Explorer? If I select an .EXE file I get the usual "no preview available" message in Explorer's viewer. If you see something else, and we're both talking about the same area of Explorer (see screenshot below) then you should be able to get the same thing in Opus since Opus supports the same preview handlers that Explorer uses.
Oh sorry, I wasn't talking about the 'preview pane' in explorer, I meant this bit at the bottom:
You can show many of those details as columns in Opus, if that helps.
