It does not happen every single time, but close to 9/10 times for me. When it stops happening, navigating away from the folder and going back to it again seems to start triggering the bug again.
I've not seen this behaviour before, so it might be related to the new experimental feature in 13.13.3 (Beta): Quick filter in FlatView
Because with flatview_folder_filters = True it seems to not happen, at least not when I've tried it -- but please note that sometimes the bug doesn't happen, so might have been a (big) fluke and unrelated to the new feature.
And since expanded / branched folders really doesn't have anything to do with flat view (albeit probably related code-wise) I think this is unexpected behaviour, especially since it doesn't happen 100% of the times
No filters active, and this is happening in all kinds of different folders for me, with all kinds of file types being moved.
Also, this example was on a newly created folder tree just for testing, and I wouldn't have a *.txt filter on by default for all my listers/folders I think
EDIT: ...also, why would a *.txt (file) filter hide a folder..? Is there any kind of filter that would show a non-empty folder (in non-flat view), but hide an empty one like this..? Because how would I ever manage to expand the folder in the first place if it was hidden by a filter..?
Let me know if you can't recreate it and I can try and dig deeper, but as I said, it started happening with the new beta without any changes on my end, and no change in my workflow.
But I could have missed some setting conflicting with the new function of course, but I don't know what, especially when I'm not in flat view mode.
