How do I keep files at the bottom of the desired destination folder right after pasting and selected so I can perform a subsequent action (f.i. dragging the paste audio folders/files to add them to my music player library). Currently after a pasting action files in the destination folder automatically get sorted alphabetically and deselected.
Found what I was looking for:
Preferences>File Operations>Copying Files>Automatically select newly copies files
If you want the new files at the bottom instead of sorted:
Preferences / Filtering and Sorting / Sorting / Sort newly created and copied files
