Mp3/Wav player

Hi. being new to Dopus this may sound like a silly question. Does it have a built in audio player or does it just use Windows Media Player?

Just use viewer for an audio file.

Opus has a very simple built-in wav/mp3 player which you can configure to be used on double-clicks inside of Opus. (You can also launch it via the Play command.)

You can also play those files (and many more) by selecting them and opening the viewer pane, which (instead of the built-in player) will can use Windows Media Player (embedded inside of the Opus window via Opus's ActiveX plugin) to play most sound formats.

When I try to play an mp3 it always opens WMP externally. Is there something I haven't set right?

Go to Settings -> File Types, edit the MP3 file type, Events tab and set Left Double-Click to run Play

Many thanks. Works fine now.
