Tried accessing photos on my phone via usb connection using the mpt function and the device reports that "The device is unreachable". I can view all the files in their directories no problem, but there is no way the phone is letting me download anything off of it. Has anything changed in regards to the MPT protocolor file system pertaining to accessing a phone?
(If you have fast wifi, I would use FTP or SFTP instead, as it's more reliable than MTP and doesn't require plugging in a cable. Not specific to Opus but in general.)
I apologize for the delay in getting back tro you guys about this, but I have been trying to sort out if the problem was on my end or not. I have set up two new pcs recently, and I can't for the life of mne get Opus to successfully move / copy files from my phone (Galaxy s20 - Android) to my PC. I can get it to work properly with Explorer. I can browse the files just fine in Opus, but when I go to copy or do anything much at all really, it simply sits there or freezes and I'm forced to close it and start over. I have USB Debugging on on my phone, and I just have to say, I haven't had any trouble at all with the MPT connection for the longest time unitl just recently. I can't say when things changed, but either I've done something very stupid or someting else is afoot. Is there anything I can do to change this?
Again, sorry for the delay, life's been a bit... lifey lately.
I have malwarebyttes and it isn't running when I have been trying to do this. I have Defender completely turned off, so its not that either.
You're right Leo, I probebly will change to wireless, I am just a creature of habit so I was just trying to get this to work for the time being.
