Here is the story: Every now and then I see a file Move operation "hang" in Opus, with the following symptoms: In all cases, the file is moved from one partition to another (which may or may not be a coincidence). The progress bar in the Move dialog quickly moves to a 100% and then remains stuck there. I can see that the file was copied to the Destination location, but it seems the Delete of the file in the Source location hangs. If I log out at this point, and log back in, delete the copied file from the Destination location, and attempt the same Move operation again, it will always hang in the same way as before. The only way to get the file moved using Opus' Move command is to reboot the computer. Once I have done that and logged back in, the operation works as it should.
Two more pieces of information I have are these:
I think that in all cases where I had this problem, I was moving a file I had downloaded from a website, that was located in my "Downloads" folder.
While I don't recall seeing this issue in Windows Explorer, if I try to move the file in Windows Explorer after this operation hung in Opus, Windows Explorer also is not able to move the file, and hangs in a similar way.
Sorry for the long story, but I was trying to give as much information as I could in the hope that this might help somebody explain what is happening here. Like I said, this issue happens somewhat infrequently, and it is not repeatable: If I download the exact same file again, and try to repeat the exact same Move operation, it will usually proceed flawlessly.
