How do I run the command?

you can either put it in a button or use FAYT and run the command directly from a lister.

make sure the lister is focused (click on it) and type > (Command) then type Navigator DELETEVARS and press return.

Navigator is a very useful tool and rock solid. I like the automatic remember position and resize features. The modes features are very convenient - no need to go over to the file display to change them. I like that Navigator tracks changes in a file display. You have clearly been thinking on this. Excellent work!

And, now for the questions since software is never finished.

  1. Can you talk about the functions of various keys, left, right up, down, home and end, or others, if you noticed them
  2. There seems to be some inconsistency. Home goes to the top and up; End goes down returning to the original starting point. When Home goes to the top, End goes to the bottom and then opens the last folder.
  3. Can you put the transparency setting in the script config?
  4. How do you get to another partition from within Navigator?
  5. Could the modes feature have a toggle option so Navigator can be smaller?
  6. I thought about a Find feature but the scroll bar works for that for me.

Again, wonderful work.

Thanls for input.

Keyboard warriors never crossed my mind when writing it. Will look into it.

Can do.

It was just meant to help navigate curently open folders/tabs/listers.
Very useful, for instance, navigating image folders with DO fullscreen and thumbnails on large with labels off.

No more room for anymore icons, but might be possible to make minimum size smaller.

Good idea, but would clutter the simplicity of the interface.
One issue with the scrollbar is there is no way to Get/Set the scroll position either of the current lister or the list view object, not sure if @Leo or @Jon can do anything about that
