Network Copy Question

When I tell DOpus to copy a file (or files) from L: to M:, where L: and M: are mapped to seperate network attached storage devices plugged into the same router, are files moved directly form one device to the other or do the files physically 'pass thru' (i.e. uploaded to the computer sending the copy command from DOpus and then sent to the destination) the computer running Dopus?

If they 'pass thru' the Dopus computer, is there a way to make them go directly from one to the other?

They're copied via your computer.

AFAIK, unlike FTP, network drives do not provide a way for one computer to tell them to copy directly to another computer.
