New menu (within right click context menu) - how to edit it?

Maybe this is something I need to do in windows, but I'm not sure?

When I right click in windows explorer, and select new from the context menu, I have the option to create a .txt file.

When I do the same in Dopus the .txt file option isn't there. Seeing as it's available in explorer I am guessing this is something I can change within Dopus.

Can anybody tell me how to edit my new menu in dopus please.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Have a look in -> options -> preferences -> miscellaneous -> windows integration -> hide Windows objects in context menues (shift overrides), maybe this setting is active. In that case, yo´ will get the full context menu when holding shift down.

I checked that but it's not ticked.

The New menu is part of the lister context menu. You can edit it via Settings -> Customize -> Context Menus -> Lister Context.

However, that part of the menu is normally auto-generated. (When editing the menu you'll see an item called "Lister Context Menu" which turns into the New menu and a few other things.)

You can manually add a New Text File item to the menu below there, though. Just add a menu item which runs FileType NEW=.txt

(I do that anyway so that I don't have to open the New menu (and wade through 15 different file types) when I want to create a new text file, which is the only thing I ever want to create in that way.)
