New Tabs wont stay put

I have DOpus 10.0.2.0 installed and on one pane have two tabs and on the right side have three tabs. However if I add an extra tab to either side they are there only for the current session. After rebooting and logging back in I find that the tabs have gone and only the two and three original tabs stay put. I have looked for a setting controlling this but can't find one.

Am I going mad or just stupid?

Did you save the changed layout under -> settings -> lister layouts? In the section -> settings -> preferences -> Opus start -> auto start
you can see, which lister is set (e.g. "open saved layout") to start. That´s where you save the default lister to keep your newly added tabs.

I have selected up "open the Listers that were open when the program was last closed"

And yes I did close the program fully thinking that it might be the issue. This is running under Win7 Ultimate 64.

You probably just need to use Settings -> Set as Default Lister after adding the tabs.

Doesnt that then defeat the purpose of the other setting which says open back up to were I last had them (which is the behaviour I want)?

No, if you want to have the tabs always there then adding them to the Default Lister is exactly the right thing to do.

I suspect what's happening is that you are (sometimes) closing all of the Opus windows before exiting the program, which means there is nothing to be remembered for the next time the program is run.

I want the same number of listers but I want them where I last used them from. At present they open at from where they were originally opened opened at when the save default was done.

I am pretty sure I tried closing it a number of different ways but will go for the File/Exit method and see what happens.
Thanks.
