New to this, I have some questions :)

Hello,

I'm in the process of trying this program before adopting it, so far so good, but I have a few questions about to handle specific actions :

1- In windows explorer, when clicking on one folder back in the path bar, it auto-selects the folder I was in before. Is there a way to reproduce this useful behavior?
2- When I click on create a new folder, is there a way to auto paste from clipboard?
3- When saving a folder format (let's say showing images as thumbnails in images folder), how can I force the thumbnail size to 256 by default for said folder? It always resets to default when I restart the program.
4- When copying many files from one location to the other, I have the option to ignore "identical" files when a duplicate is found, but is there a way to have an option to ignore files whose only difference is their "created/modified date" ?
5- Any way to have the option "open in windows explorer" when right clicking any folder?
6- Is there any way to reopen last listers (ex : closed by mistake) ?
7- I'd like to force a dopus folder in another desktop, and when restarting it, automatically start there instead of everything being in first desktop. Is that possible?

Hi! Please use one thread per question. Not all questions in one thread.

  1. It is possible:

  1. Sorry, I don't understand.

  2. You can set the thumbnail size here:

  1. This is too difficult for me. I don't know yet.

  2. Create in the lister context this command:

But when right clicking on free space of the folder display.

  1. Yes, by this command: Go UNDOCLOSELISTER

  2. Do you mean when you have two monitors? Perhaps this function:

Hi,

sorry, didn't want to open 7 threads in a row, I'll do that next time.

Thanks for your answers.
1- Perfect!

2- I mean, when I click there :
0001

I have this menu :
0002
I'd like instead of "new folder" to have a paste from what is written in the system's clipboard.

3-OK, but that looks like a global default setting, not a per folder one, right? Is there a way to have a per folder configuration of that?

4- Anyone?

5- OK!

6- Where do I have to write this command?

7- No I mean, using multiple windows
0003

0004

It's a windows 10 option.

  1. I see, sorry but I'm not sure if it's possible. But you can paste it with Ctrl + V what you already know.

  2. It is a global setting, that's true. Sorry, but no idea yet.

  3. You can write this command where you want. Perhaps it's best when you create it in the tray context menu:

Aufnahme016 Go UNDO

  1. I don't use this option, sorry.

Please wait for Mr. Davidson, he will answer you the left questions effortlessly. :grinning:

CreateFolder ASK FROMCLIPBOARD will prompt you for a folder name, using what's in the clipboard as the default.

CreateFolder ASK FROMCLIPBOARD=multi is the same but lets you create multiple folders if you have multiple lines in the clipboard.

Remove the ASK if you want the folders created without being prompted at all.

Please start new threads for any questions that still need answering. Even with the few replies here so far, it is far too much work to walk up and down the thread working out what has already been said for seven unrelated questions.

Thank you guys.
OK I will open a thread for every question remaining.
