No themes working

i downloaded the DEEP BLUE theme and imported and applied it and nothing happend. The menu background didn't change, the only thing that changed was the size of the fonts.

How can I fix this?????

Are you using the standard toolbars? Themes, when saved, are related to specific toolbar names - if you're using other names for your toolbars you will need to manually edit them to incorporate the graphics supplied with the theme.

yes i do have the standard toolbar selected. I did try a few other themes and those didn't work either. I'll try downloading the program again and reinstalll it and see if that fixes the problem.

tried reinstalling and still have the same problem of themes not working.

Any Suggestions??

Go to Settings -> Customize and, for each of your toolbars (they'll be the ones that are ticked in the list), set the background image to Standard Toolbar Image.

Hopefully that will fix it for the current theme. It might also mean that when you import other themes they also work automatically. Not sure though.

because if you set the background image to"Standard Toolbar Image" work and if you personalize with a image not?

I've test and if "Standard toolbar image" is my background predefined and export and import Theme all OK.
ut if you set background to another image(not standard) export and import theme don't work I must set up the background by hand.

sorry for my very very bad english

I think that makes sense.

The theme is replacing the Standard Toolbar Image so any toolbar which references that image will be changed by the theme.

The theme will also set specific toolbars (the ones that were open when the theme's author created the theme) to use specific images. So if you have toolbars with the same names as the theme author then they may have their images changed, whether or not they used Standard Toolbar Image.

The theme system should work well provided you (and the person making the theme) either use the standard toolbar names or have toolbars that use Standard Toolbar Image.

If you use custom toolbar names or custom images then the theme won't mess with them, which is probably a good thing as you may have customized them for a reason (e.g. you have a special toolbar on the left that you want to have a different image to all your other toolbars).

Even with customized toolbars/images, you can still use themes as a quick way to import a bunch of images (and colour settings) that someone else has defined. All that's left is to go into customize and set your custom toolbars to use the images you want from the theme.

Therefore if I use the standard toolbar names with the standard toolbar image the all function perfectly.
If I use standard toolbar names but a personalized image when import the theme I must set up it manually.

thanks
