This has been a longstanding problem for me. I'll switch to thumbnails mode to view a long list of powerpoint presentations to see the opening slide. But not all of the powerpoint files show the thumbnail. Some do, others show the powerpoint logo.
Is this a Dopus issue? Something in each file? Why is the 2nd file in the screenshot not showing the its thumbnail?
PowerPoint thumbnails are (usually) generated by PowerPoint. Opus isn’t involved here, and you’ll likely see the same thing in File Explorer and everywhere else.
After digging, it turns out that the 'Save Preview Picture' option in the file's advanced properties wasn't set. Now I have to figure out how to find all the files that don't have this and how to maintain them in mass... which probably isn't possible.
