Am using 13.10 and it does NOT copy all selected files because when I attempt to RE copy same files it adds additional files BECAUSE it did not copy them before when TRIED to copy directory to new location, doesn't matter how many times I RE-COPY same files/directory there is ALWAYS files copied into the NEW directory after the re-copy attempt??
Did version 12.+ do this as I don't recall/remember it MISSING files like it is doing now?? Am going to HAVE TO "fall back" to previous version 12.+ until this is resolved UNLESS there is a VIABLE explanation as to why this is happening using version 13.10 as this is giving me a FALSE sense of security thinking the files were ALL copied . . . .
Can you give some examples?
How are you performing the copy?
What types of drives and files are involved? (Local, removable, network, cloud, phone, FTP, etc.)
Which files are not being copied? Is there a pattern to it?
Is the Copy Filter turned on? (Open the menu attached to the Copy Files button to see if it's on.)
Does performing the same copy with File Explorer have similar results?
There must be an explanation somewhere : be assured that, considering the number of Opus13 users and the time (several months) since it first came out, if an operation as basic and commonly used as Copy
was not working in Opus13, that forum would be filled with complaining users.
Since it's not, there has to be a (somewhat) rational explanation as to what you are experiencing.
I am wondering if IT is actually happening to others BUT that they too assumed ALL was copied when it actually wasn't??
I agree that there would be MANY complaining users if people were AWARE of this happening to them as well..
I was copying over 200 GB of data to a new larger drive (was changing out drive) and wanted to be SURE that I was getting ALL the files as the drive would be wiped cleaned and retired.
I usually do not RE-Do the copy commands but since the drive was going to be wiped clean and that was my ONLY source of those irreplaceable files. . . . . . . I did that copying AGAIN several times in fact with the 13+ version of Dopus/Opus.
I have since reporting THAT issue reverted back to the 12+ version to complete the copying of the drive . . . . .It's STILL copying . . YIKES!!!
Have been using Opus since my Amiga days so have quite a long history of using AND loving it, completely replaced the windows explorer and a FTP program . . . . .
People would have noticed it if it was happening to them.
You haven't answered any of my questions above. I can't help without that information.

Am left clicking on icon (LMB . . . I have my prefs setup to show the drives and other icons in a TOOLBAR between/in the middle of the 2 VERTICAL sides) ALL the files are selected from the initial drive and just sent/copied to the other
site Features | RaiDrive
What types of drives and files are involved? (Local, removable, network, cloud, phone, FTP, etc.) **one drive is a 2TB WD the other is Gdrive with win11. Pro & desktop software Raidrive (IT makes the Gdrive a "local drive" Have copied drives using this setup before and didn't NOTICE any issues THEN but didn't check them like I did this time so it's unknown if I missed any files before/then and also was using DOPus 12+ then so . . . . .
Which files are not being copied? Is there a pattern to it?
The ones I've NOTICED that were NOT initially copied but are being copied NOW are like the 96k file a 257mb zip file (being copied NOW with DOpus 12+) they are are; zip files, .gz, text,,html's, Was ABOUT 200GB total originally being copied
Is the Copy Filter turned on? (Open the menu attached to the Copy Files button to see if it's on.) haven't TOUCHED/clicked on any filters just copied as described before

[/quote] Haven't tried anything but DOpus to copy them, clicked at the ERROR LIST (next/near to the "unattended operation" just now and nothing happened so . . . . .that's all I can tell you about the copy operation and details on the version 12+
I'd say this is more likely a problem with RaiDrive than Opus, since a quick search instantly found similar issues with it in the past and unrelated to Opus:
You need to try using Explorer to copy them. That's the only way you're going to know for sure whether it's a DOpus problem or not.
You could also try turning off "Count files in folders before copying" and in case too many requests at once are confusing Raidrive.
(Edited: DOpus 12 doesn't have Everything integration.)
It's been happening to me over the past couple of months as I have been updating my portable hard drives...
- dayum... I thought it was part of the hard drive failing.... and not related to using Opus.... I never even thought to try with old mate explorer....
Could be either, but my money's on the drive or something else like antivirus going wrong. You'd need to do some tests to know for sure, not just guess that it's one thing or another. (Or provide some examples so we have a clearer idea of what was done and what did and didn't get copied, which may point to the reason why.)
Basic file copying is the most tested thing in Opus, and each file is copied in Opus 13 using the same mechanism as File Explorer. It's really unlikely that it is randomly skipping files.
(Synchronize, filtered copies, or copies driven by scripts etc. can be more complex, but a basic copy like most people do every day is really unlikely to be the thing that's going wrong.)
OTOH, sites like Amazon are full of things like scam USB flash drives that say they store 32GB but start throwing away data once you fill up a small amount, and antivirus can do some very strange things these days, without always telling you.
In the OP's case, it's likely to be the program they're using for cloud storage, as there are other threads (on the web, not here or related to Opus) about files disappearing with that in a few situations at least.
it was random files in random folders. Until i saw files were missing, I didn't even know it had been happening. Happened across multiple older drives. But I've got to do it again in the new year, so I will pay very close attention this time and keep data for you if it happens again.
