Numeric order sorting for columns other than filename?

Is it possible to enable numeric order sorting for other text columns?
This would be especially useful for Location column in Flat View. I have directories named "CD1", "CD2"... "CD9", "CD10" and they are sorted just in that order, but in Flat View Mixed (No Folders) when I'm trying to sort their content by Location, order is "CD1", "CD10", "CD2" ... "CD8", "CD9".

Directory Opus Pro 11.4.4 (Beta) Build 5275 x64
OS 6.2 (B:9200 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0

I just wanted to open a new issue and then saw this exists already. The issue that numeric sort is only available for filename columns is still present. See an example below: after "1. ..." the next item is "10. ...", while there are also folders named "2. ...".

The "Edit folder format" settings only allow to enable numeric sort for the filename column, see below. Can this be changed to apply numeric sort to whatever column is defined as the sorting column?

Thank you!

You can use an evaluation column and sort it in any order you prefer.

I haven't looked at evaluator columns so far, will have a look - thanks.

But still, shouldn't it be possible to enable numeric sort for any column out-of-the-box? I guess there are many use cases for it, and it's probably much faster/convenient than creating a custom column using scripting. (I don't know why the dedicated checkbox in the folder format settings is limited to the filename column, but there might be good reasons for it?)

Additionally numeric sort order is not available for FOLDERCONTENT menus.
Solution - have a global Numeric sort order somewhere. (feature request ?)
