You need at at least three single-pane listers open for one of them to become Off. (Off is when a lister is neither a Source nor a Destination.)
Of course, you'll only see the border colours in single-pane listers if you have Preferences - Listers - File Display: Show file display border in single display mode turned on. (It's on by default, I believe.)
thank nudel, i had tested with 2 lister so i don't see changement because first are source and 2nd destination. but with 3 lister, it's ok...
