I just realized that dopus is not displaying the onedrive sync status properly. I am in the process of uploading a large file and dopus is telling that it sync'ed already which it didn't. Explorer on the other hand is properly showing that it's still syncing.
Try turning on Preferences / File Display Columns / Options / Display extended sync attributes for cloud folders.
It can also depend on Windows and OneDrive versions, as Microsoft are constantly changing/breaking the API for this, depending on which process asks or exactly how it asks.
that setting is already turned on
Windows 11 Enterprise and the latest available OneDrive
OneDrive version: Build 23.201.0926.0001 (64-bit)
Does the synching status icon show in anything other than File Explorer?
I can only compare File Explorer and dopus. File Explorer correctly showed whether the file was syncing and/or finished syncing while dopus didn't. When I saw the green symbol initially, I wanted to create a shared link but onedrive alerted me that it wasn't ready which usually is a sign of sync not complete.
A File Open dialog from another program might be a good test.
(Try a program that isn't in the Windows directory, as Microsoft have reported sync status to programs in that directory differently to ones outside it before. The OneDrive/sync API is a mess.)
