Open active File Explorer window into DO

Hi,

Is it possible to have a shortcut or contextual menu to open the active File Explorer windows in Directory Opus ?

There's usually an option to Open in Directory Opus in the right-click menu for folders, e.g. in the folder tree or on a sub-folder.

(Unless the option for the menu item, and Explorer Replacement, are both turned off.)

Thank you for jumping in. I am looking for an option to be use from Windows itself not inside DO, to open the active File Explorer windows into DO.

File Explorer is what I was talking about. For example, this is File Explorer's folder tree:

Here what I get in Windows here.

It would be in the "Show more options" menu if it was anywhere.

Nope I don't see it :frowning:

Right-click a folder in the tree, or a sub-folder, not the background.

Same thing: no option :frowning:
What I am looking for is to simply open the active windows into Directory Opus that is. That is why I am right clicking the background of the window.
By the way what a mess is this contextual in Windows 11 ! Is there any utility that would help to tidy everything in here ? This is a jungle contextual menu where any developer add anything without following any UI rules I can see.

You need to click the folder. If the folder is not selected - click directly on the characters, not next to them. Otherwise, you'll only see the reduced menu.

what a mess is this contextual in Windows 11 !

True... sigh.

Is there any utility?

Glary Utilities are quite ok, the free version is sufficient. But don't expect wonders

Just found this after reading you post about "Unless the option for the menu item.." I was not sure what you meant. I turn it on but nothing is added to contextual window in File Explorer. Will try a restart
