Open folder-shortcut target in opposite lister?

When I have a folder-shortcut in the left lister, I want a command to open its target directory in the right lister, or vice-versa.

Is this possible?

Go OPENCONTAINER=target OPENINDUAL

This is not exactly what I need. This opens the CONTAING (parent) folder of the target and not the target folder itself! For example, if the target folder of the shortcut link is "C:\DELPHI\MyProject" then the opposite lister should open "C:\DELPHI\MyProject" (and not "C:\DELPHI").

My mistake. Try this:

Go FROMSEL OPENINDUAL

Thank you, Leo! This now works exactly as needed.

I too am looking to be able to do this. the only thing different I would like to do is open it in the opposite lister (just like this one does) except open it in a new tab. Currently this opens the selected folder in the visible tab on the other lister. So if i have 3 tabs open, and the middle one is the one that is visible, the folder opens in that middle tab instead of opening a 4th tab.

Thanks

Go FROMSEL OPENINDUAL NEWTAB

kool, that worked....thanks... Is it possible to lets say be able to shift + double click a folder and it will run that command?

I was also trying to figure out how to add it to a context menu, but if i go to settings/customize/context menus, while i can alter what is in there, it never shows up when i right click on a folder.

To add a command to the folder context menu go through the sequence Settings --> File Types --> All Folders --> Edit --> Context Menu --> New and then do your thing.
