Opening a folder in a different Lister

Is there a way to select a folder (or directory) in one Lister and have open or show the contents in a different Lister? Similar to selecting a folder in a the tree.
If so, will it open the second Lister automatically or would you have to have a second one already open?

Hold down Shift to open in a new lister and CTRL to open in dual mode. ALT key for new tab.
